Christian leaders’ brunch » 19th April
Why is science-faith dialogue important in the church today?
Atheist scientists often ridicule Christian belief as out of touch with modern science. Those within the church take different views on the issue. So how should Christian leaders respond? We’d like to invite you to a private brunch event for Christian leaders to learn about and discuss integrating faith, science and the Bible.
You’ll be able to network, meet the speakers and ask the questions you’ve always wanted to.
When: 10am - 12 midday, Friday 19th April
Where: Premier Christian Radio, London
Speaker: Dr. Denis Alexander, Emeritus Director of The Faraday Institute for Science and Religion.
Host: Justin Brierley, presenter of Premier’s popular faith discussion show “Unbelievable?”
Dr Alexander will speak on the relationship between science and faith, and the relevance of science in a church context, and his recent work on genetics and free will.
This event will be suitable for those who have not yet run a Test of Faith course, or attended a Faraday short course.
